Roxborough State Park Wedding
Denver Colorado Micro Wedding with Tyler and Kendall
This wedding day. These people. Truly the most wonderful day. Of course, all of my days with my couples are amazing but this one hits close to my heart. Tyler has been a friend of mine for over a decade and I am so honored that he and Kendall asked me to capture their Roxborough State Park Wedding here in Denver. They chose to celebrate small and have an intentional Colorado micro-wedding with their closest friends and family present. They started off getting ready at a rental house nearby and then headed over to the park to say their vows. Afterwards the two of them joined all of their friends for an afterparty in RINO that night.

Roxborough State Park Wedding
One of the best things I think about Colorado is there are so many gorgeous spots to get married. And SO many of them are not big expensive venues that are going to cost you a fortune. I actually have an entire blog post on all of my favorite small wedding venues in the state which you can READ HERE. Roxborough State Park is definitely mentioned on that list and for good reason. This location allows you to rent out a beautiful overlook just 45 minutes from Denver. It allows up to 30 people and makes for a great spot if you are planning your own Colorado micro-wedding. All you need is to obtain a rental permit from the State park. And your photographer will need to obtain the photography permit necessary to shoot here. Often, you can cover that cost for your photographer whenever you buy your permit to have your wedding there to make it easier.
