Chautauqua Park Wedding in Boulder Colorado

Marc and Dylan

I cannot get over this gorgeous wedding in Boulder. Chautauqua Park is one of the most well known parks in the state, known for the flatirons mountains. The Flatirons are the slanted sandstone mountain formations you can see from just about anywhere in Boulder. And these formations make for the most beautiful wedding photo backdrop or photo session backdrop. I have featured this location on my Top Wedding Venues in Colorado post because well, it is a great space to host your wedding. This day was a rainy and foggy day and to be honest, those are my favorite. The moodiness of a lightly rainy wedding day is magical. Not to mention, rain on your wedding day is good luck! Marc and Dylan are the sweetest humans on the planet. Dylan is also a wedding photographer and videographer and I am so beyond thrilled that she trusted me to capture her beautiful Chautauqua Park Wedding.

Chautauqua Dining Hall

I have to say, that this spot is a hidden gem. The dining hall is so cute and can hold anywhere from more intimate gatherings of 50 or less, to a full seated reception of 260 people. If you are looking for a spot in Boulder that has gorgeous views this should definitely be on your list to check out. I also really love that they offer lodging on site. It allows for easy access to the venue without having to deal with the crazy parking (this park is super popular and parking fills up fast). Not to mention it gives you all convenience if you want to do a wedding day hike or just enjoy the park with family and friends. You can utilize all the hiking trails practically from your door. Chautauqua Park weddings are definitely at the top of my list when thinking about the Best wedding venues in Colorado.
