Fall Buena Vista Engagement Session

Colorado in the fall is just magical. Ian and Emma reached out wanting to go adventure around Buena Vista for their engagement photos, and I was all for it. There are SO many good spots for a fall Buena Vista engagement session in the area. The best part about shooting in this area, is that you don’t have to worry about photo permits. Makes it very easy to just go explore and find great spots to shoot at. If you are considering a fall Buena Vista engagement session, for sure take some time during the week for your photos. Weekends are absolutely insane during fall colors and you can be sitting in the car for upwards of 4-5 hours just trying to reach the town from Denver area.

This session was so much fun. We adventured around to so many different locations. Late September proved to be the perfect time—the aspens were glowing in shades of gold, it was cloudy and the air had that perfect crispness. And the mountain views were absolutely breathtaking. We wandered through a cozy little campground tucked beneath the trees, letting the couple just be themselves as we explored. They shared quiet moments, laughter, and even sipped their favorite whiskey by the pond, making the whole session feel more like a laid-back adventure than a photo shoot. It was the kind of afternoon that makes fall in Colorado feel extra special. A cute pond, a gorgeous river, an adorable campground, an open space with mountain views. We really got a little bit of everything with this fall Buena Vista Engagement Session.
