Photographing this city mixed with mountain wedding was a dream. Hannah and Cruz’s Denver Limelight Hotel wedding in late October was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The day began with the two of them getting ready at the hotel with all of their friends and capturing the sweetest first look before heading over to Red Rocks. We then adventured over to a breathtaking ceremony at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. Surrounded by glowing red rock formations and crisp autumn air, it was literally the perfect day. The weather was gorgeous—sunny with just enough coolness to feel like fall. After the ceremony, we made our way back to their Denver Limelight Wedding reception, a chic and modern space that brought a sleek, urban contrast to the natural beauty of the ceremony location.
One of the standout moments of this Denver Limelight Hotel wedding was having rooftop access for wedding portraits. It’s an extra investment for couples, but so worth it—the panoramic views of downtown Denver and the mountains created the most stunning backdrop for romantic, high-end portraits. It was especially meaningful for me because I’ve known this bride since my days living in Dallas—we used to work together years ago, and now that she’s in Denver, it felt incredibly special to document her day. Absolutely love being able to capture these moments for people I know.
And we have to talk about Hannah’s dress. The dress was custom made just for her. The definition of couture perfection: a custom-made silk mikado, tulle, and French Chantilly lace gown by designer Guillermo Pharis. Every detail felt intentional and elegant, and it photographed beautifully against the modern aesthetic at her Denver Limelight Hotel wedding. This day had everything—iconic Colorado scenery, heartfelt moments, a crazy fun reception party, and the kind of personal connection that makes my job feel like such a gift.
