Aspen area in the fall is absolutely magical. I got to help capture LeAnn and Phoenix’s wedding day along side my good friend and fellow photographer, Stacy Firkus. These two choose to have their wedding up at the Snowmass Wedding Terrace which made for such a gorgeous backdrop for their ceremony. Looking back at these photos make me so excited for fall to get there this year. As a photographer, I live for the cool fall days with golden leaves. I think If I had to choose the perfect time of year for a wedding, it would by far be fall here in Colorado. Aspen Snowmass Weddings are so much fun. LeAnn and Phoenix got ready at the Limelight Hotel at the base of the mountain, and then had party busses take them and their guests up to their Snowmass Wedding Terrace Wedding Ceremony. The ceremony was stunning as the leaves were starting to change for the season. This wedding was on the 23rd of September, right when the leaves were starting to change. After the ceremony we headed back down the mountain for the party! The Limelight Hotel hosted the wedding reception. Talk about a perfect spot to host your party! Classy and Modern, Limelight is a great option for a larger wedding.

The Vibe

I seriously cannot get over the classy western vibe that LeAnn and Phoenix had going for their wedding day. I loved everything about it. The boots, the custom cowboy hats… just went so perfectly for the Aspen setting and their love of all things western. This day was such a chill go with the flow kind of day. No one was rushing around, everyone had time to breathe in the landscape, appreciate one another’s presence, and really just have a good time. When planning a wedding, one thing that I think is of upmost importance, is that your timeline is created with your photographer and planner to perfection. You want to make sure your day is laid out so that you get the most out of your time with your vendors, while also giving you room to breathe and enjoy your day. This was one of those days that ran so smoothly.
