Talk about a gorgeous mountain location nestled just under an hour from Denver. North Star Gatherings in Idaho Springs is the perfect location to host your Colorado wedding without having to drive hours to get there. This is such an ideal location for anyone wanting epic mountain views to wow your guests. The views are stunning, the staff is great, and it can comfortably fit up to around 125-150 people. Although, it is designed to also be great for smaller weddings too. I could definitely see a 50-75 person wedding also working perfectly at this spot. If you are considering a Mountain Wedding, do not hesitate and book this venue!
The Wedding Day
From perfect weather to the most fun wedding party, this day was an absolute blast with George and Mackenzie. Them, their friends, and their family were so fun to work with. I was second shooting this day with fellow photog, Alyssa Carpenter. It’s always a great time working with her. There were so many moments throughout this day that were so heartwarming. From the sweetest vows said to each other, to the tear jerking words spoken by George’s mom and Mackenzie’s Dad during the toasts, and SO much laughter on the dance floor. This North Star Gatherings Wedding has easily crawled its way to one of my favorite days this year. Ok ok, I really love every single one of the weddings I shoot, but this was definitely one for the books. Mountain Crust Catering was also on site for their dinner and this is easily one of my favorite food trucks in Denver who just kicks ass at every wedding and I cannot recommend them enough!
