Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Wedding
Greg and Julie
This beautiful fall day was just entirely perfect. I love a good mountain wedding. Mount Princeton Hot Springs Weddings are so much fun too. You get epic mountain views while also having a kick ass place to relax in their hot springs. Makes for a great spot for a destination wedding as everyone gets a vacation out of their trip when staying in Buena Vista. Who wouldn’t want to attend their friend or families wedding and also get to explore a gorgeous area of Colorado complete with hot springs?!
Their Wedding Day
Looking through Greg and Julies photos gives me all the feels. I can literally still see their sweet first dance happen in my head to the coolest cover of “First Date” by Blink 182, sung by Taylor Acorn. SO GOOD. That song was on repeat in my head for literally weeks after their wedding. Actually… just click that link above to go listen to it while you look at these photos. Everything about their day was really beautiful. From the gorgeous flowers to their classic wedding attire and the amazing fall colors we were blessed with. Their vows were so beautiful and emotional I straight up could not stop crying. And y’all… I have captured hundreds of wedding days and shed many tears at my couples weddings. But wow these just we’re so heartfelt. Also, Julie is an incredible poet and published author, and you can view her works HERE.
I think something that was so fun about their wedding day at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs was that they decided to have an open dance floor at both the beginning and end of their reception. They walked into their reception, had their first dances, and then started the party! After about thirty minutes of dancing they had everyone sit for dinner and continued the night with toasts, cake cutting, and more dancing. The most epic of receptions! And to all of you couples planning your wedding… remember that this is YOUR day and you can do whatever the heck you want to.
Fall Colorado Wedding
Fall really is one of my favorite times for weddings in Colorado. Of course we get some beautiful colors in our Aspens here. But in reality we get some of the best weather at the end of September and Early October in the mountains. Snow can typically start around mid October in the mountains, so the few weeks leading up to that can be, in my opinion, perfect. Gosh I had been looking forward to this Mount Princeton Hot Springs wedding since the day Greg and Julie booked with me. We also had a super fun Boulder Engagement Session at Lost Gulch if you want to check it out.
This venue is by far one of my favorites to work at in the state. If you are planning a Buena Vista wedding and are considering Mt. Princeton, please reach out about the possibility of me capturing your wedding day!
