Talk about a gorgeous place for your Colorado mountain wedding. Mountain view ranch wedding venue is the perfect setting for anyone who doesn’t want to be super far from the Denver area, but wants a really gorgeous secluded mountain type of feel. They have rentals that they work with just around the corner from their property where the couple and bridal party (or other guests) can stay. So Erika and Greg rented that out and were able to use it as their getting ready location also. I really love shooting in fun little cabin and house rentals. They make for such unique photos and really enhance the whole wedding day experience.

If you are a couple thats been searching for Colorado Wedding Venues, you have probably come across Wedgewood Weddings. They are super popular here in Colorado with multiple locations. MVR is definitely one of my favorites. However, I am a huge fan of all of their locations!

Erika and Greg

Man I really just love the couples I get to work with. Erika and Greg are super down to earth. The first time I met them was for their Epic Fall Colorado Engagement Session (SEE THEIR ENGAGEMENT HERE). We hit up a local brewery down in Idaho Springs then made our way out to Georgetown to capture some mountainous engagements. They brought their dog with them (seriously their dog Copper won me over in a heartbeat. She’s the sweetest and most well behaved dog ever. You can see her featured in my Dog Friendly Engagement Session Locations Guide) I couldn’t wait for the next year to pass to shoot their Mountain View Ranch Wedding.

Six months after their engagement session, we get hit with a global pandemic. Not going to lie, I think we were all a little nervous as the year passed by. Once Covid came around countless weddings were having to be postponed here in Colorado. Many of my own weddings are still postponed and have yet to happen. We didn’t want their Mountain View Ranch Wedding to have to be postponed if we could avoid it. Luckily, it all worked out and they were able to have their gorgeous Colorado Mountain Wedding! And damn was it flipping beautiful!

Every detail of their day just screamed Erika and Greg. The dress Erika wore, The florals they had, The Skateboard everyone signed at the cocktail hour instead of a guestbook. The simple yet gorgeous dinner setup. Their romantic wooded first look (seriously it gave me all the twilight vibes). Their sweet first dance together and their Insanely fun and energetic reception. You guys… This Mountain View Ranch Wedding was the perfect day.
