Carly and Blair’s Dallas Texas Wedding Reception

I can’t even tell you how amazing Carly and Blair’s wedding reception held at Hickory Street Annex was. Full of so many amazing moments. From a gorgeous first look to the sweetest first dance. To a downright adorable cookie breaking between the two of them. Also their dog Pico was with them almost the entire day until just before the reception started. Carly even dressed him up in his own little tuxedo! So stinking cute!

Oh… and I can’t forget to mention that they hired Caitlin with Celebrate Dallas to be their planner and she’s a freeking doll and really knows how to run the show! I totally recommend her to any Dallas couples looking for a great wedding planner.

You might notice that I keep saying “wedding reception” and not wedding. Thats because these two already tied the knot at the courthouse before this! But they still wanted to throw an epic party to celebrate with their friends and family. So thats exactly what they did. They wanted an urban setting, and chose Hickory Street Annex in Deep Ellum for their reception. And it made for the perfect setting to host their Downtown Dallas Reception.

Some of you checking out this blog might know that I have known Carly since we were kids. We went to grade school together and have kept in touch ever since. When she reached out to me about photographing her wedding reception I was so entirely happy for her and Blair. And could not wait to meet her fiance and hear all about their lives and what they were up to these days. It was so nice to be able to catch up, shoot some gorgeous photos for them, and celebrate their love.
