White Sands National Park has been a location on my bucket list for so long. It is such an amazingly gorgeous park and makes for a great backdrop for engagement sessions, portraits, weddings, etc. This White Sands National Park Couples Session is out of this world! I am so happy that Clay and Jo wanted to take me here the day after their wedding to explore the park and get some post-wedding photos taken. They live in DC, and had their wedding down in El-Paso Texas. So naturally we had to drive out to White Sands to capture this epic day-after session.

If you are considering a White Sands National Park Couples session, you should absolutely go for it! Engagement sessions and weddings would be amazing at this spot also. We took these photos in November and it was perfect weather. Warm in the sun, and a little chilly once the sun went down. If you are a photographer wondering how to shoot in a National Park, you just need to reach out to the park for a commercial use permit. They are super easy to obtain as long as you have proper business insurance and give plenty of notice (60 days is ideal).
