If you are looking for a spot in Colorado to have a small ceremony or even elope, Sapphire Point is a great option for intimate weddings. This location is centrally located in Summit County and holds up to around 35 people. Right outside of Breckenridge, with views of Lake Dillon and the Ski Resorts, you wont be disappointed with this location as the backdrop for your wedding. I’ll be honest though, anywhere in the Breckenridge area is kind of amazing. And no matter the season, its always a good time for a wedding in Summit. The Wedding

Kate and Kolby had the sweetest intimate wedding in Colorado. I photographed this Sapphire Point wedding while working under Catherine Lea Photography, as her associate. Talk about the perfect day! We started at their airbnb in town, where they were finishing up getting ready. Kate decided that she wanted a first look so we picked a gorgeous spot in the yard for Kolby to see her for the first time. It was absolutely beautiful. All the details of this intimate wedding were stunning. Kates dress was phenomenal and suited her so well. The flowers she chose were gorgeous. And of course they picked the best spot for their small ceremony.

We drove up to the lookout from their Airbnb for their amazing sapphire point wedding ceremony. There they had an amazing ceremony with their closest friends and family witnessing their union. Sapphire point weddings are all so different. Depending on the time of day, the time of year, the weather, it all plays into how your day will be. On this particular July afternoon, the sun was bright and the weather warm. It was the perfect day for an outdoor Colorado wedding at Sapphire Point. There was little to no wind which is always a plus for Colorado.
