Tiffany and Alex’s Wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook
I first met Tiffany when she initially inquired with me about her Sapphire Point Overlook Wedding a few years ago. She was recommended by an old friend of mine down in the Dallas area where they currently live. I must say, I am beyond thankful to our mutual friend Hilary for sending Tiffany my way. I think one of the best parts about my job is meeting new couples and gaining new friendships.
For real though Tiffany and Alex are the CUTEST. I loved every second of their sapphire point wedding day even though we had to deal with some setbacks due to Covid. Originally their date was supposed to be the 21st of August. Instead we had to move to the 20th due to some Covid restrictions on booking sapphire point weddings at the time. But even though we had to make some last minute changes it all worked out in our favor. Turns out Loveland Pass where we did their portraits after had road closures set for the 21st. So had their date stayed the same we definitely wouldn’t have been able to get those epic top of the mountain photos we really wanted. It all worked out just like it was supposed to!
Having a Sapphire Point Wedding in Colorado
For good reason, Sapphire Point Overlook is one of my favorite spots for small weddings and elopements. It is listed on my Top 25 Places to Elope in Colorado post. You just can’t go wrong with this gorgeous spot nestled between Keystone and Breckenridge. The location is so easy to access from both of those towns making it an ideal location right on Lake Dillon to host your intimate wedding. In order to get married at the overlook, you must book a 2 hour time slot online. CLICK HERE TO BOOK SAPPHIRE! These time slots will open up 6 months in advanced. The evening/weekend time slots are always the first to get booked up. If you’re looking to have a wedding here on a weekend I suggest setting a reminder on your calendar for 6 months prior. That way you have the best chance of securing the time slot that you want.
