Lake Dillon Elopement in Breckenridge

Breckenridge Elopement on Lake Dillon
Gosh this day was just gorgeous. Such a perfect Breckenridge Elopement on the lake. We missed the rain all evening once in Dillon and I really consider ourselves incredibly lucky. Bri and Devanshi had to wait out an insane hail storm in Denver before heading out to Summit County. We thought we were going to have a late start due to it but they got there with plenty of time to spare. We stayed down around the lake a little longer than planned to let the rainstorms move over Loveland Pass, as we planned to end their portraits up there. So in the meantime we hiked up to this gorgeous spot near Lake Dillon that overlooked the lake. It made for the most gorgeous backdrop for their elopement. The best part about having your elopement on Lake Dillon is that your dog can join! This location is fully dog friendly, so if you want to elope with your dog in Colorado this spot is a great one!
Loveland Pass Wedding Portraits
As most of you know, Loveland Pass is one of my favorite shooting locations in Colorado. We were shocked that when we got up there we had absolutely no wind. I have never come up to 12k feet elevation and not dealt with insane winds. Somehow, someway, we ended up with a calmness like no other. It was amazing and made it so much easier to shoot up there. You can see a past wedding from Sapphire Point and Loveland Pass HERE. The wind at that wedding was pretty intense. Either way this spot makes for a great place to capture some photos after a Breckenridge elopement.
