DEVILS THUMB RANCH WEDDING | TABERNASH, COLORADO

Devils Thumb Ranch Wedding

ELOPEMENTS ARE AMAZING
Small intimate weddings just might be my all time favorite thing to photograph. The emotion that takes place during these small affairs is like none other. It is like you are truly one with the moment. You can focus on your couple to its highest extent. It is a wonderful thing to be a part of.

Lisa and Russ were a dream to work with. They booked me for the majority of the day, and we started off with an incredible zip lining adventure. If you were not already aware, Devil’s Thumb Ranch is full of so many awesome activities. Some of which include zip lining, horseback riding, an amazing spa on site, and so much more. I met up them at around 10 AM to go zip line. We drove up in the back of a truck to the top of the mountains where we started the zip lining adventure. We gradually made our way down to the bottom of the mountain by zip-line. That is where they all enjoyed a drink before heading back to the resort to get ready for the wedding. This my friends, was one of the best ways I could have ever imagined starting off any wedding day.

When we returned, we headed to meet Lisa and her mom in their getting ready suite. It was pretty amazing that we had both Lisa and Russ getting ready at the same location and managed to keep them from seeing each other until their first look. By the way, that first look was absolutely adorable! Actually, every single moment of their day was perfection. The ceremony was held at Devil’s Thumb Ranch’s beautiful outdoor ceremony location. Jane with Jane’s Personalized Weddings officiated the ceremony. You guys… She’s a doll and is absolutely amazing at officiating. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. During the ceremony, the clouds lifted just as Lisa and Russ said ‘I Do’. It was freaking magical guys!!! Everything about their day was magical…
