Morrison Colorado Family Session
The M Family
This sweet family just warms my heart. Becca is a dear friend who lives in AR. I met her through my life long best friend as they went to college together. I am so happy that we have kept in touch over the years. When she came to Colorado this past October for her friends wedding (which I photographed, and I cannot wait to share with you all here soon. Also.. thank you Becca for sending Libby and Jimmy to me! <3) she asked me to capture some family photos of them while in town. I was so excited to be able to do this Morrison Colorado Family Session for them while they were here.
Mt Falcon in Morrison
Becca and Blake really wanted pretty views for their session but we didn’t necessarily have the time to venture too far into the mountains. Mt. Falcon park is the perfect spot close to Denver that gives some absolutely amazing views. You drive up to the top and there’s a parking lot with very quick access to a main trail. About 5 minutes of walking and it opens up to views of the mountains. This is the perfect spot for a Morrison Colorado Family Session. You can learn more about Mt. Falcon here.
Sunrise Family Session
We got up at the crack of dawn to make it up here by sunrise. Y’all… sunrise light is amazing. And if you have small children, you know that trying to get them ready and having them in a great mood at the end of the day can be extremely hard. Sometimes it is even hard in the mornings and we might only have about 20 good minutes of smiles and laughter to capture some pretty cute moments. But having a morning session, especially as early as sunrise with such pretty light is usually ideal for family sessions. This Morrison Colorado family session went by fast, as their kids moods changed fairly quickly. Yet that didn’t stop us from capturing some of the sweetest moments of them. This session was full of so much love and I am so excited to share it with you all.
