Mount Falcon Wedding Proposal
Jacob and Stephanie
I love a good proposal session. Jacob reached out to me with plans to propose to Stephanie and I was so excited to capture this for them. These two are super laid back and down to earth and absolutely love their dog, Charlie. Jacob and I were trying to figure out if they should bring Charlie along for this moment or if we should hold off and plan a separate day for their actual engagement photos. Jacob ultimately decided that in order for this to work out and get the best photos of the proposal we would do this proposal one day, and plan a separate engagement session for the following day (WHICH WILL BE POSTED HERE SOON, STAY TUNED).
This mount falcon wedding proposal could not have been more perfect. We had gorgeous weather and the views up at Mount Falcon are amazing for being so close to the city! You really cannot go wrong if you have your Proposal or other type of portrait session at Mount Falcon. And can we talk about how gorgeous that ring is from Brilliant Earth?!
Mt. Falcon Location for Portrait Sessions
If you are looking for a good spot for a proposal, engagement session, or even for your elopement, I highly recommend Mt. Falcon. I actually have it listed on my blog featuring the TOP 25 PLACES TO ELOPE IN COLORADO. Please note you do need to get a permit from Jefferson County to elope here, and your photographer needs a photo permit from them as well to work here. This spot is typically accessible year round and is a great spot when it’s snowy also. There are also numerous hiking trails you can take for a more adventurous session, one leading to old castle ruins.
