Sunset portraits in late fall can give you some of the most gorgeous light. This South Valley Park Engagement Session was perfect. We did the session in mid October which gave us the most beautiful light to work with. Angi and Steven were also dressed to perfection. I don’t think Angi could have chosen better outfits for the two of them.

When I got there and I saw that they brought their dog… I was so happy! I’m the biggest fan of sessions that include pups. Or really any animal for that matter. If any of you want to do a session and are wondering if you can bring your pet… the answer is always yes. Give me sessions with pups and I am a happy girl!

It was so fun photographing these two. Angi and Steven are so sweet together! I can’t wait to shoot their Hudson Gardens wedding come June. It is the perfect location for a wedding in the Summer in Colorado if you are wanting to keep it local to the Denver area. Hudson Gardens is full of many great portrait locations all over the property. You just can’t go wrong with it.

On their engagement session day we explored all over South Valley Park. We captured some great moments for the two of them. We walked their dog around, who completely enjoyed every second of being outdoors with them. I think my favorite moment is when I had them dance and their dog just sat and watched. It was literally the cutest thing I had ever seen.
