Sunrise Family Session at Chautauqua Park
The Murray Family
This particular session was so special. The Murray family are friends who live in Arkansas and I was so excited to be able to capture these for them while they were in town. The last time they were in town back in 2019, I got to capture their family photos over at Mount Falcon Park. You can see that session HERE and look at just how cute and little their babies were! We considered shooting there again as we loved that location but we wanted something a little different for this session. So we went with their family session at Chautauqua Park this time, one of my favorite spots in Boulder. I loved spending the morning with them, we had the best time.
Shooting at Sunrise at Chautauqua
If you ever are considering taking photos at a popular park in Colorado, might I suggest option for Sunrise? Sunrise sessions are one of my favorite things to capture. They are amazing for family sessions too especially when you have younger children. Like with this family session at Chautauqua, we had the most gorgeous backdrop and none of the chaos dealing with lots of people. If you are planning your own Sunrise family session at Chautauqua, its important to note that you will want to be there and shooting about 25 minutes before actual sunrise time. It allows for you to have about an hour of great light before the sun gets too bright and direct.
