Eldorado Canyon Colorado Proposal

Today was magical. This Eldorado Canyon Colorado Proposal was amazing. Chris contacted me about a month ago saying he was wanting to propose to Alex on their trip out to Colorado and asked me to document this special moment. I was super excited to make this happen! This entire week has been absolutely beautiful outside. 60-70 degrees and sunny. Then we get the report about a week ago that we were suppose to get some snow on Thursday. The timing seriously could not have been better. I swear the snow came just for these two! Also, snow makes for some really great captures.

I had spent the few days prior to the session scouting locations for photos and came across Eldorado Canyon. It was the perfect location for their Colorado Proposal. We spent around an hour outside in the snow (with a few jumps back in the car to warm up) taking some killer portraits of the two of them. Near the end of the session we found what seemed to be the perfect spot for Chris to go ahead and pop the question, and it was beautiful.  Literally like something out of a movie.  With the weather being as cold as it was we decided we would split the session into two parts and finish up this coming Saturday. Hopefully the weather will subside a bit and I can take them to a mountain top up in Boulder to finish off their photo session. Until then….
