Emmy and Spencer’s Mountain Chic Colorado Wedding at Mountain View Ranch
The day after their gorgeous pre-wedding portrait session at Mount Falcon, Emmy and Spencer tied the knot at one of my favorite Colorado venues—Mountain View Ranch in Pine, CO. I absolutely love this venue. Mountain View Ranch Lakeview is the newest addition. It’s perfect for larger celebrations, with space for up to 170 guests, and the views truly live up to the name. Mountain View Ranch has three unique ceremony sites, all of which are stunning in their own way. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at all three, and Lakeview, their newest addition, is quickly becoming a favorite.
Emmy and Spencer got ready for their big day at the charming Highland Haven Creekside Inn in Evergreen, Colorado. If you’re looking for that cozy, upscale mountain rental vibe while still being close to town, this is the place. It made for the dreamiest getting-ready photos—lots of wood beams, big windows, and peaceful creekside moments.
Just like the day before, we were watching the weather, but the clouds rolled in just right for their mountain view ranch lakeview wedding. The light was soft and dreamy during their ceremony at the Lakeview site, and the cooler temps made the whole day feel comfortable and relaxed. For portraits, we wandered a bit to find the best mountain backdrops—and even spotted the cutest little fox trotting through the trees! Such a sweet little mountain surprise. The fox also made an appearance at their reception.
Speaking of the reception, it was laid-back and full of love. All their guests had traveled from Missouri, and the energy was so joyful and easygoing. Everyone was genuinely thrilled to be celebrating Emmy and Spencer in the heart of the Colorado mountains.
