Cannabis Friendly Colorado Wedding
Meg and Kaylee’s Cannabis Friendly Wedding in Estes Park

Meg and Kaylee’s cannabis friendly Colorado wedding was the perfect blend of heartfelt, serene, and uniquely them. Set against the stunning backdrop of Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, their ceremony was intimate, emotional, and surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that only Colorado can offer. After their vows, we spent the afternoon exploring the park for portraits. This included a stop at one of my favorite spots, Moraine Park. The golden light, the open meadows, and the sweeping mountain views made for an unforgettable wedding day portrait session. These two brought such joy and connection to every frame and it was an honor to document it all. For this wedding, I was second shooting along side Lena Gill Photography. Huge thank you for having me along!
While Meg and Kaylee’s celebration was a 420 friendly Colorado wedding, it’s important to note: you absolutely cannot bring marijuana into any National Park, even in Colorado. National Parks are federal land, and cannabis is still illegal federally—even having it on you is not allowed. Additionally, you cannot smoke marijuana in public anywhere in Colorado. If you’re planning a cannabis friendly Colorado wedding, it must be on private property with the property owner’s permission.
That said, there are so many creative ways to incorporate your vibe into your day without breaking any rules—and I’m always happy to help couples plan a celebration that feels true to them. A Cannabis friendly Colorado wedding can be so much fun to plan! Meg and Kaylee’s day was the perfect example of making your wedding your own, while still honoring the space and rules around you. It was sweet, soulful, and so full of love. If you’re dreaming of a 420 friendly Wedding in Colorado that’s equal parts scenic and meaningful, I’d love to help you capture it.
