Jana and Ryan chose to get married at the Lyons Overlook reservable site, and it was truly the ideal setting for their ceremony. If you love the look of Red Rocks but want something more private, not to mention far more affordable, particularly for those wanting a smaller wedding size, a Roxborough State Park Denver wedding is such an incredible alternative.
Lyons Overlook
The Lyons Overlook site is especially appealing for couples planning a ceremony on a budget. The rental fee is only $225 for a weekday and $400 for weekends, making it one of the most affordable ceremony options with views like this in the Denver area. One important thing to keep in mind: if you plan to take photos outside of the Lyons Overlook area or outside of your reserved time, your wedding photographer will need a separate photo permit. While there was some concern about heavy rain, it completely bypassed us, leaving behind the most beautiful cloudy skies and just a light sprinkle before we wrapped up. And can we talk about how incredible they looked? Their wedding party color palette blended seamlessly with the natural landscape and the red rocks, making the entire day feel so cohesive and intentional.
