Fall Color Pet Portraits with Kristen and Ryder

Fall Color Pet Portraits in Denver

There’s something extra special about being asked to take photos for your best friend. Kristen had been talking about doing a photoshoot with her pup, Ryder, forever. So we finally made it happen. The moment we started seeing those first signs of fall settling in around Denver, we knew it was time. The anticipation built all summer long because we wanted those gorgeous autumn colors for their session. Once October arrived, we planned it out — and it couldn’t have been more perfect for some truly unforgettable Denver Pet Portraits.

Ryder was a total star. A little chaotic but in the most lovable way. She zipped around, wagging her tail, making us laugh, it was too cute. We ended the morning back at my house to let her run free in the backyard while I snapped a few more shots. It was seriously the best day — the kind of session that fills your heart and reminds you why you love what you do.

This spot we used is one of my favorite local gems in Wheat Ridge. I actually offer pet sessions here starting at just $175.00 for 20 minutes of shooting time — perfect for anyone looking to book Denver pet portraits without breaking the bank. The best part? In the mornings, the light is absolutely dreamy!

In the fall, this park truly comes alive with color. The trees burst into shades of gold and amber, creating the ultimate backdrop for Denver pet portraits that are both timeless and fun. I’m already excited to shoot here again — especially if it means more days like this one.
