Today I look back on this past year, and I just can not believe that 2016 is already over.
Seriously, where did the time go?!
2016 was my first full year running my business in Colorado, and it was one seriously great year.
I have met some absolutely kick ass people this year. From other photographers who have literally welcomed me to Colorado with open arms, to the couples I photographed who have shown me how beautiful love is time and time again.
I spent some time over the past few weeks rummaging though my external drives and pulling images for this post and it dawned on me… I really freaking love doing what I do. Photographing epic love stories. Photographing the things that I love. The places that I love.
Ok, so I have always known I have loved taking photos.. but this year really just put it into perspective.
The adventures of this past year have been nothing short of amazing. Filled with people who are nothing short of amazing. Now its time to soak it all in. 2016 blessed me in more ways than I could have imagined.
Here’s to 2017 bringing just as many amazing couples my way, and blessing me yet again with some epic adventures with the ones I love the most.

Yes please!!! I am always down for hanging and taking photos! 🙂
Looks like you had a wonderful year. Your images really seem to focus on the connection between people- not just couples but mothers and kids, grandparents, and sometimes just the subject with their self. Great shots!
