Madison is a long time friend of mine from Dallas, who will be graduating this coming May from the University of North Texas with a degree in rehabilitation and chemical dependency studies. When Madison first contacted me and asked me if I could do a portrait session with her I was ecstatic! First off, this girl is freeking gorgeous as you can tell from these photos. So making her look amazing wasn’t a hard task at all. She’s a natural in front of the camera. We were trying to figure out if I was going to be taking a trip up to Dallas or if she was going to be able to come down to me in Austin. She ultimately decided to take a road trip down to the awesome city of Austin for me to take these lifestyle portraits and also capture a few traditional senior portraits in her cap and gown while we were at it. I am SO happy she chose to come to Austin, as you just cant beat the locations Austin has to offer. We started off our two day portrait session on the newly built boardwalk near downtown austin. This area is an austin photographers dream spot. Beautiful views of downtown across lady bird lake and sun that hits you like rays of gold. It was epic. The next day we decided to go for a little more nature and chose to shoot at the Zilker Botanical Gardens. This location was so beautiful it was almost overwhelming. There was so much to work with and with the multiple outfit changes Madison decided to bring along, we captured some truly amazing images. This weekend was filled with so much adventure in such a little amount of time. Tons of laughs, tons of time exploring some of Austin’s best locations, and lots of epic best friend moments. I don’t think we could have had a better time or better sessions.
