So I have been catching up on a lot of old sessions and weddings, getting them up on my blog this week. I was looking back in my archives from last December and found this adorable session with the Bjornnes Family. I had such an amazing time with this sweet family in Breckenridge, Colorado for their family photos last year.

I drove around the town a few hours before hand to find us some snow. Last year around this time there wasn’t too much snow on the ground, even for Breckenridge. So I made my way through the town of Breck and up towards the trailhead for Quandary Peak. That’s where I found the perfect section of trees covered in a beautiful layer of snow. It made for the most wonderful spot to start their Breckenridge Family Session. We eventually made our way back towards town and ended up at Lake Dillon. The lake was beautiful. The mountains in the distance made for a picture perfect backdrop. While it was a little chilly, they completely rocked this session.

I originally met Carey down in Dallas when I used to live there. Eventually her and her husband ended up moving to Summit county and I am so happy that they are here. They are seriously such amazing people. Carey is also a wedding officiant and owns a honeymoon planning company called Wandering Honeymooners!
