Today I got to adventure around the Houston Heights with this awesome couple. They are such sweethearts and truly portray the definition of love. Since this is the first neighborhood that they lived together in, they felt it was the perfect setting for their engagement session. They started at their favorite little coffee shop/bar in the heights, Onion Creek Cafe. Which had some amazing eats, their nachos were incredible. Then we made our way around the neighborhood, which was really bittersweet for me. I use to live in Houston as a kid, and even when we moved up to Dallas we would travel down to Houston often to visit my grandmother who lived in the south east area and my uncle who lived in the Heights at the time. Seeing all the old homes and big beautiful trees that Houston has everywhere was very heartwarming. It is a place of amazing character.
